This H.S.E. approved course is run over 3 hours

The course is designed as an update for first aiders who hold an Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work qualification as recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (H.S.E).

The topics that are covered in this course are:

• Action in an emergency
• Management of the unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation
• Wounds and bleeding
• Shock

Delegates will be able to refresh their knowledge and skills and receive up to date information on any changes to first aid procedures. There are plenty of opportunities to practice skills under supervision of the instructor during the course. The attendance certificate received will be valid for 1 year.
