CIEH Level Two in Manual Handling

Delivered over a 4 hour period the candidate will gain an understanding of:

• What is meant by the term “Manual Handling” and give examples
• How injuries can occur through Manual Handling and provide examples
• The principles for controlling manual handling risks and be able to apply these in practise
• The main provisions of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations

The course will conclude with candidates undertaking a multi-choice examination the successful completion of which will result in the awarding of a Chartered Institute of Environmental health Foundation Certificate in Manual Handling.
