I recently attended the IOSH Managing Safely Course presented by Paul Sadd at Safety and Management Solutions Limited. This was a well presented and thought provoking course that I would recommend anyone with management responsibilities to attend.

All the information was presented in a clear and concise manner and we were encouraged at all points to discuss how the modules affected each of our businesses.

Added to this was the great way we were all treated – coffee to start the day, great lunches and biscuits at each break. SAMS even accommodated the fact that I would not be able to attend one of the days so I was lucky enough to have on to one tuition.

A&A Growers

Based at the Thanet Earth project A&A are world leaders in the production of cucumbers and supply a significant percentage of the crop for the UK market. SAMS have been working closely with A&A for the last 2 years.

Andrews of Kent

SAMS have been working closely with Andrews of Kent for the last 7 years. This Thanet based Company have been finalists in the BAR Remover of the Year in 2009 and 2010.

Beach Break Live

BBL is a student festival which in 2009 was held at Port Lympne and in 2010 it moved to a permanent home in Port Burry in South Wales. SAMS have worked closely with the promoters to deliver a safe and ongoing event.

Broadstairs Food Festival

The BBFF is now in its 3^rd year and in 2010 SAMS became their safety advisor. This event, held in late September showcases local producers and products and is free to attend.

Caxtons

SAMS is an approved contractor with Caxtons who are a major property sales and leasing company based in Gravesend, Gillingham and Canterbury.

Eco Frame Systems

Eco Frames Systems is a manufacturer and designer of timber framed houses. Based in Canterbury this progressive company is a market leader within its field.

SAMS has been working with Eco Frames for the last 12 months.

Kaaij

Kaaij is a Dutch lead company and is based at the Thanet Earth project in Thanet. Kaaij is a world leader in the production of the full range of tomatoes varieties and is responsible for the production of a significant percentage of that consumed in the UK. SAMS have been working closely with Kaaij for the last 2 years.

Port Lympne

Based in Lympne, near Folkestone, SAMS have worked closely with Port Lympne since 2007 on the management of a range of concerts and festivals held on the Grasslands site.

Quex

Quex Park is a unique country park of 250 acres on the Isle of Thanet set within an estate of 1800 acres around Birchington, Acol and Richborough. We provide Quex with health and safety advice on large scale outdoor events.

Based at the Thanet Earth project Rainbow are world leaders in the production of peppers and supply a significant percentage of the crop for the UK market. SAMS have been working closely with Rainbow for the last 2 years.

Vattenfall

In 2010 SAMS worked closely with this market leader in the building of wind farms. We represented Vattenfall at openings ceremonies in the Isle of Skye and at the world’s largest off shore windfarm off Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs.

Whites Transport is the leading transport company within the Thanet area. Based in Minster SAMS have represented Whites Transport for the last 8 years.
