CIEH Level 1 Food Safety
This course is ideal for candidates who are employed or seeking employment in hospitality or catering industry, which includes working in hotels, restaurants, kitchens, cafes, bars and mobile catering units.
The Level 1 food safety course comprises of 11 modules and a 20 question multiple-choice knowledge check at the end. The course content follows the national syllabus in food safety and hygiene and takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
The learning follows a core content around food safety with more detailed information supplied specific to the type of course undertaken, be it catering, manufacturing or retail.
The questions are randomly selected from a question bank to ensure the integrity of the test with a pass mark of 75% (15/20)
Successful candidates will be able to download their certificate at the end of the course, you can log back in using your log in details if you require another copy at a later date. You will also be able to track candidates progress through the course, seeing what element has been completed, passed and print their certificate. Safety and Management Solutions Ltd will be able to access the CIEH certificate bank to validate that the candidate has completed and passed the course, on request.
