CIEH Health and Safety or Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace

Delivered over a 8 hour period the candidate will gain an understanding of:

• Health and safety requirements placed on employers and employees
• Hazard and risk and the main causes of harm to workers
• The importance of following safe systems of work, procedures and rules
• Hazards and controls in respect of both safety and occupational health risks
• How their actions can reduce risks to health and safety

The course will conclude with candidates undertaking a multi-choice examination the successful completion of which will result in the awarding of a Chartered Institute of Environmental health Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
