We are holding our ever popular Asbestos Awareness course which is accredited by UKATA, on Firday the 15th March 2013. The course runs from 9:30am to 1pm with tea and coffee included. At just £50+VAT this is a cost effective and thought proking course.
Exposure to asbestos still continues to raise concerns within safety circles and the illnesses associated with it often prove to be fatal. Being a versatile substance asbestos was used widely in the post war years and may be present in a variety of forms in building constructed pre 1999.
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2005 has placed strict duties upon duty holders and employers which include the need to provide training to persons who may be exposed to asbestos containing materials in their day to day work.
At SAMS Ltd we are accredited by UKATA to deliver asbestos awareness courses. The courses we offer are of half day duration during which we highlight the risks presented by asbestos, where it may be found and how both staff and employers can minimise the risk of exposure.
