The Level 2 in Food Safety for Catering video e-Learning course is an interactive and fully-certified training scheme for anyone who anyone who works in the catering industry, or is responsible for food handling in a catering setting. The course is fully certified and approved by RoSPA and the CPD, and is widely accepted as proof of competence in the catering industry.
Food handlers and their employers have a legal obligation to ensure that food is handled and prepared in a safe manner. These requirements are laid out across several UK and EU laws, which state that food handlers must make sure that any food which is prepared, cooked, served or sold is safe for human consumption.
While we may be willing to take risks with food preparation in our own lives, food handlers must take every possible precaution in the workplace. Numerous considerations including allergies, weakened immune systems and other sensitivities can make people susceptible to illness from contaminated food, and can even be fatal.
This food safety video course will provide candidates with a greater awareness of the dangers that poor food safety standards pose. Candidates will learn the best methods to control and avoid risks, how these risks actually arise, and how environmental conditions such as the state of premises and the presence of pests can impact on food safety.

What is Video e-Learning?
Video e-Learning is our new online video training system, and an alternative approach to our traditional e-Learning courses. Each module of the Level 2 in Food Safety for Catering course is taught with a face-to-face video. Once you’ve finished the video and taken in all of the information, you’ll then have to pass a test to move onto the next module.
This food safety video course is perfect for visual learners, and anyone who prefers the classroom environment but is unable to make it to our training centre. Video e-Learning users benefit from the visual stimulus of the video training and face-to-face tuition, with all of the advantages of studying wherever and whenever suits you best.
