About the Course

The NEBOSH National Fire Certificate online course is held by more than 6,000 people, making it the leading qualification for the fire industry. This course will gift learners the knowledge to understand the health and safety issues that impact fire safety.

The NEBOSH National Fire Certificate online course is designed for:

• Fire risk assessors in low risk workplaces

Course Content

This online course covers the main legal requirements for fire safety and risk management in the UK, the identification and control of workplace fire hazards, and the practical application of this expertise. This is emulated in the three units that embody the NEBOSH National Fire Certificate course:

• Unit NGC1 – Management of Health and Safety
• Unit FC1 – Fire Safety and Risk Management
• Unit FC2 – Fire Safety Practical Application

Assessment

This online qualification is separated into three assessed units. The assessments are carried out by two written examinations – for Unit NGC1 and Unit FC1 – and a work-based practical examination for Unit FC2. It is mandatory for all three units to be completed successfully within a 5-year period for the learner to achieve the full qualification.
