We always aim to make each year at SAMS better than the last – bringing better training, better prices, bigger events and more courses to our clients. Part of this involves looking at what we can do better, and honing our skills to make sure our standards continue to improve.
This hard work has paid off, and 2020 is starting off with a bang. We’re pleased to announce that as of January, SAMS has been granted ‘Gold Learning Partner’ status by NEBOSH, one of the world’s foremost health & safety training institutions.
The NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner accreditation is the highest recognition a safety training provider can receive from NEBOSH, and a mark of the esteem in which SAMS is held. Candidates taking NEBOSH courses with SAMS can rest assured that their training is of the highest possible quality, making SAMS the premier choice for NEBOSH courses in Kent.
To achieve NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner status, SAMS had to ‘greatly exceed’ the following:
- Ensure all learners understand what is expected of them and what they can expect from their Learning Provider.
- Create a learning environment that is engaging and encourages interaction that is appropriate for the course and type of delivery.
- Provide accurate course materials and continually update and improve them.
- Ensure tutors are qualified, knowledgeable, competent and engaging.
- Give learners feedback on their progress and provide appropriate support.
- Review course delivery and learner feedback and action as necessary.
The NEBOSH suite of qualifications are among the most in-depth and respected health & safety courses available in the world. NEBOSH graduates frequently go on to have successful careers in the field of health & safety, serving as safety specialists within companies as well as trainers, inspectors and invigilators.
We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done over the previous year, as well as everything that went into achieving Gold Learning Partner status.
