This week is the launch of our Beat the Rise Campaign!

#beattherise #prizefreeze #healthandsafety #construction

Over the next couple of weeks, you will see posts about ways we can support each other during this period of rising bills and spiralling inflation. We will talk honestly about what is happening, and how and why it doesn’t have to impact your daily routines when it comes to health and safety.

This will also include a  PRICE FREEZE. As the weather is getting cooler our prices will do the same, maintaining the same low prices as they usually are. This includes all our e-learning courses, Zoom courses, in-class courses, and even our annual bronze, silver & gold memberships.

Why SAMS are freezing prices

There are a whole variety of reasons why everything is becoming more and more expensive. We suppose one of the biggest factors could be the ongoing fallout from the pandemic. From energy prices to struggling with our general health during those couple of years, it seems that we risk falling back into our old habits as winter approaches. Instead this time, we only have ourselves to rely on!

The increased cost of living will unfortunately affect everyone, whether you’re scrimping for your first home, saving for the future, or a remote worker trying to make ends meet. As a result, it may be a good time to prepare for what is already happening.

The questions we recommend asking yourself in these next couple of weeks will be: do you need to cut back? Do you need to change your outgoings? And what things simply need tweaking so they don’t affect your health and wellbeing?

Health and wellbeing

This week will be our health and wellness week. We will be talking about how we can add exercise and a healthy diet to our everyday routines, all without denting our wallets.

We all know that healthier habits are the way forward, but a lot of us do not know how to add them to our routines without additional costs and disruption. In this week we will explain all the ways you can do this, talking about the benefits of being healthier in everyday life, and how it increases productivity, boosts morale, and can lower risks of health problems such as heart disease and diabetes.

We will be partnering up with a health and wellbeing coach who will talk about how to implement these tips and tricks, so that you can take control of your life in a healthy and productive way.

Reduce carbon footprint

In week two we will be talking about all the ways you can implement an environmentally friendly system into your workplace without denting your profits.

We are in a time of climate emergency, and doing something about it is important to employees as well as the planet. Particularly as a health & safety company, we find it’s important to minimise our environmental impacts. With so many simple ways to reduce your carbon footprint, there’s no reason not to operate in a more environmentally friendly fashion – especially if it saves you money!

Whether it’s recycling, using recycled resources, switching to electric cars and public transport, or making a few staff into remote workers, there are plenty of ways you can help. Stay tuned to read more of our ideas!

We will also be featuring a special guest to help talk about all the ways you can do this. Out with the old, in with the new for week 2!

Don’t cut back, earn more!

Sometimes when times get tough, people start cutting back on the things they love: hobbies, cooking, drives to nice places. But what if we told you you didn’t have to cut back. In fact, you could earn a little more along the way! We have partnered up with a special guest who’s excited to introduce a new way people can earn a little extra money during these hard times, even if it’s just a few extra hours each week. We will give you tips on how to make these hard times just a bit easier.

There is no concrete answer to how long these additional pressures will last, but the Bank of England have said things might not be back to normal until around the end of 2023. We hope this campaign will help at least a few of our regular customers, but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask via email, phone or our live chat box (9am – 4:30pm).
