The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health [COSHH] Regulations 2002 introduced landmark reforms to chemical safety in the UK, combining previous laws with new EU directives. By law, any business where people are at risk of exposure to substances ‘hazardous to health’ must be protected, and given adequate training to identify risks and keep themselves safe.
COSHH covers substances that are classified as “very toxic, toxic, harmful, corrosive or irritant” under the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation (CLP). This can include everything from cleaning products to industrial chemicals, meaning that employees at all levels could be exposed to risk. COSHH training is vital to many workplaces – not just those with an immediate and apparent risk, but also those where any sort of chemical is used – however infrequently.
This COSHH course covers everything you need to know about the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations, whether you’re personally exposed to risks from hazardous substances or manage people who are.

What is Video e-Learning?
Video e-Learning is our new online video training system, and an alternative approach to our traditional e-Learning courses. Each module of the COSHH course is taught with a face-to-face video. Once you’ve finished the video and taken in all of the information, you’ll then have to pass a test to move onto the next module.
This COSHH course is perfect for visual learners, and anyone who prefers the classroom environment but is unable to make it to our training centre. Video e-Learning users benefit from the visual stimulus of the video training and face-to-face tuition, with all of the advantages of studying wherever and whenever suits you best.
