CIEH Licensing Law Awareness
The responsibilities and legal requirements for operating pubs, hotels and licensed premises
This course is suitable for anybody working within the food and beverage sector who are wishing to gain an awareness of their responsibilities and legal requirements around the operation of public houses, hotels and other licensed premises.
The course will provide an overview of the licensing act of 2003, along with personal responsibilities in the service of alcohol, the effects of alcohol, underage drinking and drug awareness on how to prevent trouble or dealing with confrontational incidents.
The course will take approximately 4 hours to complete and will conclude with a 20 question multiple-choice knowledge check which 18 questions must be answered correctly to achieve a pass.
Successful candidates will be able to download their certificate at the end of the course, you can log back in using your log in details if you require another copy at a later date. You will also be able to track candidates progress through the course, seeing what element has been completed, passed and print their certificate. Safety and Management Solutions Ltd will be able to access the CIEH certificate bank to validate that the candidate has completed and passed the course, on request.
